In our chaotic world, it is helpful to look backwards as well as guessing about the future. We think our world is unique, but many civilizations have come and gone before us. I discovered artifacts from an ancient civilization in Eastern Europe from 4000BC which caught my imagination. They are small female sculptures. That is where I began my journey, but once again, my imagination has led me to create beautiful and timeless images of goddesses. They are made with needle, embroidery thread, and sometimes beads are added.
